Shabby Paints Zero VOC reVAX is our line of tinted Top Coats. It comes in Hazelnut, Black, White, and Pearl. It compliments any piece needing a finish that stands out. Use Hazelnut, White or Black to add depth or an aged look. Can be applied heavy, light, or watered down and wiped away for a glazed effect. Transforming an average piece into a work of art.
If that isn’t your style don’t worry Pearl reVAX will highlight your work with a subtle hint of iridescent sheer pearls while protecting at the same time.
Applies easily with a damp brush, damp applicator sponge, or a misted rag. No need to buff, just apply sparingly for depth or all over for a complete transformation.
*If you are using a dark reVAX over unfinished Chalk-Acrylic paint we always recommend using Sheer VAX first to give you a smooth surface to work with. This helps give you time to manipulate the look until you get the hang of it

Looking for Stain and protection for raw wood in one easy step? Try our Hazelnut or Black reVAX on sanded wood for a rich lasting stain that even a beginner can do. Use a damp applicator sponge or Damp soft brush, follow the grain smooth out let dry and add more layers for a darker look. For a shinier finish apply our Shabby Varnish.

Give your customers and your home a piece of furniture transformed with something they will love for its durable beauty and its safety. Other paints that are low VOC hide the fact that means they are still toxic, this means toxins will leach into not only your home but your client’s homes.
Directions: Always shake or stir reVAX before use. Make sure the painted surface is clean and dry. Apply with a slightly damp VAX Applicator sponge, slightly damp soft brush or misted lint free rag. Lightly apply onto surface all over or just in areas you would like aged. Apply additional coats for more durability or for more depth. Only two coats in a 24 hour period are recommended. Please allow reVAX to fully cure, this will depend on humidity and how thick it was applied. Don’t set anything heavy on your recently reVAXed piece until you know it is fully cured. 3 to 7 days. Use and store at temperatures between 60 to 85 degrees only.
reVAX average coverage: A 4 oz. 20-25 sf and the 16 oz. 80-95 sf depending on how thick you apply and what you applying over.
Cleans up with soap and water.
